ArtsVegas partners with Google’s Field Trip

It’s been several months in the works, but we’re proud to announce that ArtsVegas has partnered with Google’s Niantic Labs in publishing content for the popular geolocation-based app Field Trip

What exactly is Field Trip? It’s your guide to the cool, hidden, and unique things in the world around you. Field Trip runs in the background on your phone. When you get close to something interesting, it alerts you with content specifically written about a specific location. It’s gotten great reviews and boasts a nicely designed retro-inspired interface (think Wes Anderson).

We’re really excited to integrate content from ArtsVegas into Field Trip’s feed. Niantic is by far the most cutting-edge group within Google, and we pride ourselves on delivering content that focuses on offbeat offerings here in Las Vegas. So, what are you waiting for? Go download the app (it’s free) from the Google Play store. We’re going to be adding new content weekly, so explore the city and look for curated content from ArtsVegas.

Field Trip is currently available on Android devices and is coming to iPhone soon.
