Highlights from Design Drip #8

We ran into some serendipity at this month’s Design Drip, at the Emergency Arts building downtown. The month of May had been taxing on us both, and for me it time to wrap-up  a year of planning. The result? We didn’t schedule a speaker for the June meetup. We thought about who to get last-minute, but ultimately decided that it might be better to just wing it and host an open “creative session” for people to come out and show their ideas, work, and get feedback.  Turns out, it worked out better than we’d imagined.

After grabbing some coffee downstairs at The Beat coffeehouse, we moved upstairs to /usr/lib where we fired up our laptops and started showing each other what we’ve been working on. I got some creative feedback from Don Cramer and Brian Rosenfield, and saw some of their work as well. It was great to get the community aspect of this meetup up to par, and we’ll definitely be refocusing our efforts more on this in the months to come.

Join us at the next Design Drip, Saturday July 8th.
